Orientation Program Held for First-Year Students in the Department of English Language and Literature
On Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., an orientation program was held for the first-year students newly enrolled in the Department of English Language and Literature for the 2025–2026 academic year. The event took place in the Güzide Yılmaz Reading Room with the participation of all faculty members of the department.
During the program, students received detailed information about the academic structure of the department, course schedules, the advising system, and available social opportunities. Additionally, general information regarding the university, campus life, and administrative procedures was provided. The session also included a Q&A part, where students had the chance to ask questions directly to the faculty.
The event, held in a warm and informative atmosphere, aimed to help students adapt more easily to university life. As the department, we warmly welcome all our new students and wish them a successful and fulfilling academic journey.
