Orientation Program Held for First-Year Students of the Department of English Language and Literature
An orientation program for first-year students of the Department of English Language and Literature was held on September 30, 2026, by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pınar Süt Güngör, a faculty member of the department and academic advisor to the first-year students.
During the program, students were provided with information about the academic structure of the university and the department, the educational process, course schedules, attendance and examination procedures, and academic resources available throughout their studies. The academic, cultural, and social activities organized within the department were also introduced, and students were encouraged to take an active part in these activities.
Aiming to support students in adapting to university life and their new academic environment, the program also provided information about the academic advising process and the university units students can consult when they need guidance or assistance. The program concluded with a question-and-answer session and an exchange of views with the students.
As the Department of English Language and Literature, we wish all our new students a successful, productive, and enjoyable academic journey.
