Dr. Pınar Süt Güngör Participated in Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Program in Romania

Dr. Pınar Süt Güngör, a faculty member of the Department of English Language and Literature at Muş Alparslan University, participated in the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility Program held between April 14–18, 2025, in Romania.

As part of the mobility program, Dr. Süt Güngör delivered a series of lectures at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) in Bucharest. Her lectures were hosted by the Faculty of Political Science and focused on the intersection of ecofeminism, literature, and political theory.

Dr. Süt Güngör’s presentations particularly explored the economic and political dimensions of ecofeminism, with a special emphasis on the works of American author Ursula K. Le Guin. Through analyzing Le Guin’s ecofeminist and anarchist utopias, she shed light on the tensions between environmental ethics and patriarchal capitalist structures in literature.

Her lectures received interest from students, especially those studying political science, and ended with insightful discussions on ecological consciousness, gender roles, and utopian alternatives in speculative fiction.

This Erasmus+ mobility not only strengthened academic collaboration between the two institutions but also provided an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue across borders.
