Orientation Program for First-Year Students of the Department of English Language and Literature
An Orientation Program for First-Year Students will be organized to support our newly enrolled students in their transition to university life and help them become familiar with the Department of English Language and Literature.
During the program, students will be provided with general information about Muş Alparslan University, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the Department of English Language and Literature. They will also be informed about important academic procedures and resources, including the department website, course registration, the Course Information Package (Bologna), the academic calendar, and attendance requirements. In addition, the program will introduce the academic advising system, career opportunities after graduation, Erasmus opportunities, the university library, and KARGEM.
The orientation will also provide students with an opportunity to ask questions, become better acquainted with the department and the university, and make a well-informed and confident start to their academic journey.
The orientation program will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Classroom AE103. We look forward to welcoming all our first-year students.
